When you place an order with UltraStrands, our dedicated team commence a three-step process. First, we source and treat the hair to ensure its quality and durability, your unique base is then created and finally hair is added one strand at a time. As each volumiser is made specifically for every client, typically orders take between four to thirteen weeks.

How long does the Volumiser take to install?

Clients can expect first time installation to take approximately four hours. It is vital to note that the UltraStrands Volumisers can only be installed at approved salons by expert technicians who have been specifically trained to install the product ensuring optimal results.   

What happens after installation? 

Following installation, your approved UltraStrands technician will invite you back within two weeks to discuss ongoing maintenance and help you with any potential adjustments that may be required to your hair or volumiser.

Longevity of the Volumiser is dependent on several factors:

• The use of approved salon recommended shampoos and conditioners 
• Your choice of hair colour (black and brown have a greater longevity than blonde as they are subject to reduced processing)
• Frequent rubbing (this can cause the volumiser to shed its hair quicker)
• Use of box dyes and sulfates

Approximate lifespans of the volumisers if maintained correctly is between 6 – 12 months.
